    Car Insurance...

It's that time of year again.... My car insurance needs to be renewed in the next few days - anyone had any good / bad experiences with any companies?
I am currently with Churchill, but have had a few lower quotes from people such as Elephant, but I'm not sure how good they are when it actually comes to the crunch... literally!!

    Any advice much appreciated!!

I've always found Elephant to be the cheapest quote, closely followed by Tescos. (Tesco shot up when they heard about my 3 points but Elephant was harldy affected)

Elephant are actually part of Admiral, but a lot cheaper for some reason. Anyway, they're a fairly big, reputable company, so hopefully you won't have problems.

Hmmm.... I have 6 points and I think some people take more notice of that than others. Tesco was the most expensive quote I got!

....but it was ME that was driving so its not your fault!.... even if it was some unearthly hour of the morning, I should still have stuck to the speed limit!

Yeah they do a good first year, but the renewal quote they gave my missus was shocking.

Im with elephant, had no problems so far. Plus when I put my boyfriend on the policy, I got a refund of £40 (but then it may be because im 20!)
I like the fact that they're internet only, means no phonecalls and you can change your policy in the middle of the night if you want to.
There's a thin person in every fat person.....that's because they just ate them.

I'm with HIC - they dont have a website though.

Best place I could find - £1160 for a Group 12 Mondeo @ 19 (20 when I got the car but policy was taken out on previous car @ 19). They did a discount for being in an owners club.
