Started to save for a car...

But not sure which car yet, currently being registered disabled I have a car on motability but when the 3 years lease on that runs out in a year and a half I plan to purchase a car instead of lease and possably modify it, (mainly the sound system)
So never having purchased a car before im unsure as to what im after, Im after something sporty that wont cost a arm and a leg in insurance, been driving for 6 years dunno how much that will benifit when it comes to insurance.
Decent boot size and automatic gearbox are a must.
So whats the recomendations from the people in the know? and what do I need to know?
Starting looking and pricing up now as I know how long it takes me to get off my arse and get something done lol

what sort of budget? new or 2nd hand? you could get a volvo 850 t5 auto 2nd hand - that'd be spooorty, but probably quite a bit on insurance. you can get slowER volvos that are cheap thou - 760 turbo would do ya nicely

Not really sure tbh, I would prefer to get a new or very nearly new car, Volvos are pig ugly, not for me
