    FAO: Zakky (or Vauxhall Astra)

    Zakky!!

Need some new wipers for the Astra... im at work at the moment... so i'm unsure of the size of them... Any ideas as the drivers/passenger wipers are a different size..

Also... are these any good? Whats the price at the dealers?

/me nudges XTR and points out that you've actually got a Megane

To be honest whenever i did services on my previous car (M reg 94 1.4i Hi Torq astra) - i always went to the service place bought up the parts, windscreen wipers, air filter/oil filter etc etc and did the service myself. Service would only come to about £68.

So i really doubt they would differ that much in price to halfords.

just ask for a set of wipers for your car. They have a big old book with everything listed, and they'll look at it, disappear and come back with wipers that'll fit

sorry guys....not been at work today....I've been ....err....*cough* trying to get a better job *cough*

BUT,,,,,all I'll say about wipers is this....take off ONE only......and then use the other to aid you in putting it back on...cos its worse than Rubiks Cube on some cars

Lead Head mate...dont feel bad about it.....it does EVERYBODY in at one time...

some are EASY....and the drivers of those cars will think we are stoopid.......but other people......who have got confused about the mirror image effect on your brain of an upside down, rotated wiper blade....they'll understand matey

    Thanks Zak33!

I think I'd be able to do it pretty quickly now though :-)

I am now blessed with squeaky free Bosch wiper blades :-)
