Re: I've driven LOADS of cars today.....

Hehe, ahh well, might as well dip my oar... I bought a 1.9TDi version.

Totally, totally solid motorway cruiser. It'll sit at 77mph all day and night and pull in 48-50mpg no problems.

I get around 640 miles from a £50 fill up.

Only problem I've had with it is the MAF blew... Mitsubishi wanted HUGE money for a new one, but eBay came to the rescue with a new part for sub-£80 and once again it's good as gold.

Only complaint with it would be that unless you get the seat 'just right' on long trips you'll risk getting a bit of back ache... so once it's in a comfy position, weld the bugger in place!

I'm well pleased with the car as whole. Massive boot space, comfy ride without being soggy, and equipment spec that is only missing a remote on the central locking, plenty of room for rear passengers and, even with a 1.9 diesel engine, enough poke to have some fun (providing you rev it differently) as well as blast down the motorway.
