Probably about as much as I can't, but DAMN! It's a beautiful looking car. And so much more reasonably priced than a Vanquish...

I have to agree the DB9 is the dogs bits. That was some very nice filming of the DB9 in action, some of the shots looked breathtaking, especially the ones where the sun was setting.

Oh how I wish I could get a copy of that episode.

Mercedes-Mclaren SLR thrashing next week, should be lots of fun.

Merc SLR got an air break and stops from 120 in the time highway code says it takes to stop from 60. Awesome!!! That git Clarkson does have one of THE BEST jobs in the world.

"I know what i will do tomorrow - i will take a DB9 to Monaco." Lucky, lucky bastard! And he got his own Ford GT!

P.S. That rover review was ace too!

Lovely DB9, wicked Apachi vs. Elise, excellent Rover review... It really was TOP Gear!

I thought the French police were funny though, egging him on to go faster? Faster? At some points he was breaching 120mph!!!

Right maybe we could gang together and get a DB9 between us heh, because i definitely want one. A few years time maybe - why the hell was that lovely porchse put in the not cool section because of a designer name of KEN!. Respect to the Exige round the track too, only 5 cars quicker than it and it was on a MM track

Plus then you've got Faye Rippley doing superbly, think how fast that run would have been if she hadn't gone on the grass at the penultimate corner...

Yep i got a feeling this series is gonna be a darn good one!

Aston v Train. Regardless of which one gets to monaco first i would rather be driving round monaco in the aston than walking about from train to bus

City Rover. We all knew it was dire, no need for top gear to prove it but they did anyway and made rover look [even more] like a bunch of gimps.

Faye. Very impressive! makes me wonder what her time would have been if she had not overcooked it on the first corner, and then offroaded on the last but one.

Exige V Apache. They both look as beastly as eachother - what a bit of film. Kudos to the apache pilot he had the rotors spining less than 10ft from the ground as he rounded a tight corner. That was one of the most awesome bits of film i've seen - not even hollywood could better it. And the Exige? For 30k you get to drive around a wet track faster than most supercars including a 911 GT3. How awesome is that?

    I want a DB9 oh yes.

And it was an Exige not an Elise

Did you lot see at the beginning with the little "preview" of the series that showed the Mercedes SLR stopping... Those brake discs were glowing orange

That is seriously one hell of a sexy car and I can't wait to see it next week!!!

And did I see it right..? The studios are in Guildford, Surrey? That's, what, 20 minutes drive from here!
