Congrats
Do your pass plus now, and then do Advanced Motorists in about 6 months time. Pass plus gets your cheaper insurance, Advanced Motorists teach you to drive

Im glad it went well for you, driving is one of the most rewarding things you can do I think, I never get tired of it.
Here she is:
Peugeot 306 XN 1.4L
Cost me £1050 a month or so ago.
Not bad for a first car imo. I will be saving for a Ford Focus within the next year or 2 .
Nice! Congrats!!
Can't wait till I (hopefully) pass mine... Going for aimless drives round Surrey just to relax

I took it Last summer. I was 19 and had had my license for 12 months. It's recommended that you've been driving for 6 months, but in theory you could actually do your advanced driving as soon as you've passed your L test; but due to the nature of the IAM test, you need a bit of experience.
So you don't have to be over 21, and you don't have to have had your license more than 3 years.
I think there's an organisation called GEM (Group of Experienced Motorists) but I don't know what their requrirements are there's also the ROSPA test but again I don't know much about that either.
Ooops, didn't read all of the above

Nice motor Plaz; I always wanted a 306 as a first car.
GEM and RoSPA -

GEM doesn't require a test, but RoSPA are the strictest out there from what I've heard (some of my observers for IAM were IAM/RoSPA)
