Is it a fish?, Is it a shark?.......

No, it's the new MG ZS.

And they've done something awful to it

Doesn't look that bad from the front, but as you say it looks awful from the sides, I personally hate the looks of Saloons anyway, but the bland colour doesn't help it one bit imo...

    ??

Streetwise is based on the rover 25 (or old 200) as is the MG ZR
ZS is based on the 45 (or old 400 / honda civic \ concerto)

I dont think it's *that* bad... but with a few subtle changes it could look a lot better

the point i was trying to make was how bad the Streetwise looked and how difficult it would be to get a car to look as daft this comes close

    They've just done the ZT / ZT-T:

The 45 and 75 have been done as well - but look just the same as the ZS / ZT with a different grill.

Not much of a fan of the ZS or ZT but they look better than the originals, IMHO. ZS looks rather tasty actually!

Would be interested to see what the ZR looks like!

Sorry - but I dont think either of these look particularly nice. Perhaps its a guy thing? I dunno.

Still look at em and think that its a Rover trying to be something it isnt.

    But thats my opinion....

My dear, dear boy.... takes something much bigger and better than a mini or a ka to have such and effect!!

If it was an Evo 8, then we would have something to talk about!!
