Thumbs up New MotoGP (& F1) Circuit

Dorna have signed a 10 year contract for MotoGP and its classes from 2013 it would seem...makes a nice change from another Tilke designed etch-a-sketch jobbie...

Where is this? I reckon they should go round the other way, T1 would make an awesome downhill run to the line!

It is another Tilke designed etch-a-sketch jobbie, see the logo in the corner He's just learned that elevation changes are good (see Istanbul).

Says nothing to me - Indy coming back would be better, at least it had the NASCAR style banking for one corner, felt like a Yankee circuit, different and special.

It's Tilke. It's be another billiard smooth track with a width comparable to a small country. He might learn one day, but I've not an awful lot of hope.

It's the new track in Texas.

On all the Tilke 3D maps the elevation is exaggerated. It's not exactly going to be an Zeltweg-level of gradient, as the map suggests.

Re: New MotoGP (& F1) Circuit

Its been said though that Kevin Schwantz has had a major say in the design of the track, so hopefully, it should be nice fast and flowing...
