To put this into perspective:
Clio RT = 235mm discs
Clio 16v = 259mm discs (what I currently have)
R21 = 285mm monsters
I'm just having the the brackets made up, but if they fit properly the Clio should end up snapping collar bones when I brake

Have you ordered those then? Extra collar bones?
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
And the boost gets turned up next week then eh?
Them 16v's should brake pretty well as my old Cav had 256mm disks on it, the Cally's got 285's I think but there pants, 308's on the way
Tell me about it Butuz, already broken one in the past - blummin nightmare that was.
Trig, the boost may get turned up.. we'll have to see. Need to have my carb looked at and tinkered with. But it's hot anyway, charge temps are higher than usual so I'll leave it be for the moment.
gotta say...thats a LOT of stopping power for a Clio.....
My collar bones are bruised from yesterdays outting. Combination of red hot N20 racing Michelin tyres and pre baked Mintex pads on humble Cav 2.0 disks and calipers, over and over, for 80 miles....I ache..but what an ache

I use special pads. That's as much as I can say I'm afraid
Those DS2500s are good. I think they come with the Brembo Sport packs - I've had a set on before now
Yeah, problem is though they weigh 6kg each!Originally Posted by Zak33
Still, I'll have to lose 12kg from elsewhere.. Might be a good time to lose the spare. It won't fit now anyway due to the discs being to blummin big. That should help..
Thing is that'll lift the rear end up so I'll need it lowered again. Argh!
