What engine is that mother running!

Its a Vauxhall C20LET engine as used in the Cavalier and Calibra Turbos. In N/A mode its is regarded as the best 2.0 16v engine built. Head designed and built by Cosworth altho some were built by GM in-house.

Altho the engine has been around (in turbo form) since 1992, reliable and off the shelf tuning has only been available since about 2001/2002 in the same way there is for the Ford RS Cosworth.

Example is Phase I - 30 mins of your own time will see you from 204BHP to 260BHP. Simple matter of replacing the ECU chips (very easy job) and adjusting the actuator to allow the higher boost.
