    The stuff that needs doing.

    1. Needs tracking
    2. Centre box slightly cracked, needs replacing sometime
    3. Rear lower engine mount gone soft

    The less important stuff.

    1. Carpet needs replacing
    2. Leather interior needs fitting
    3. Rear 'leccy windows need looking at, wiring was all present but they don't work. I think i'm missing a relay for them (no power to switches either) but i can't be assed to look

Back bumper has a huge crack in and needs replacing

Windscreen has a mark across it most likely made by the wipers

Handbrake is somewhat crap and needs to be pulled quite hard to get the car to stay (Known problem)

But apart from that and a couple of dents it's alright

Small mark in the rear passenger side wheel arch where I've no idea what happened.... Parked up at my ex g/f's house one weekend.. .came back and theres a dent!!! ******* **** £$%I£$£££$%&^&!!!!!!!!!!! Pulled it out a bit but its still noticable when your looking for it.... Its virtually invisable but i know its there.... and im not happy cause i know its there... so im going to book it into a bodyshop and get it sorted

This wheel arch... but you cant see it.... or can you?

Other than that...... everything works fine If its broke.... I get it fixed... instead of ending up with a massive list of problems.

I've got 2 gas struts in the house and they are going under my bonnet as soon as i figure out where to put them.... Then i can bin the stupid bonnet stay

    1. Glove box mechanism packed up after the car was 2 years old - now held shut with velcro sticky-tabs
    2. slight scratch on front bumper where I tried to nudge a Tesco shopping trolly out of a parking space and instead of rolling away as trollies should, it stuck fast and scratched the car (my own fault - sheer laziness)
    3. slight dink in rear wheel arch where some subhuman opened their door into my car.
    4. It corners like the Jahre Viking
    5. Its dirty.

Humm despite being a Honda mine still needs a little fettling.

    1. Under 200 miles to 90k mile service. I had the cheap one at 60k and have ben doing it myself since but really need to book it in to get all the gearbox fluids looked at.
    2. Suspension is 90k miles of enthusiastic driving old, and throughout it's life with me it has been given a thorough work out. Body roll is becoming more pronounced reducing corner speeds and giving the tyres less chance to stick to the tarmac.
    3. A single rubber bush in rear suspension needs replacing (damned expensive for a sub £5 part!).
    4. One of the two backlights in the sterio has gone out.
    5. I don't have the key to take the sterio out.
    6. I can't fix the clock (which I've never seen operational) because I need to take the sterio out to get to it.
    7. The headlights are abysmal on normal beam (no matter how much adjusting I've tired and despite extra bright bulbs) and yet pretty damn good on full. Why the massive difference?!

Love it to bits but fixing that little lot would be the icing on the cake.

    1. Indicators are hyer-active.
    2. Leak from the carb throttle spindle.
    3. Mayonnaise under the rocker cover form where I spilt water in it.
    4. Mayonnaise in radiator from where I spilt a bit of oil in it.
    5. Timing and mixture is set on basis of guess work.
    6. Fuel gauge gives random readings.
    7. Several small patches of rust.
    8. Tires at the legal limit.
    9. Brake disks are knackered.
    10. It overheats in hot weather.
    11. CD player broke and the arial snapped off.
    12. It's missing a few bhp somewhere, I'm guessing sorting no.2 and no.5 will fix this.

    1. Not quick enough (1.4)
    2. The rear window demister lines, only 4 work
    3. Some rust patches
    4. No Sub

Actually, the ony way I know something IS wrong with it, is when I take it to my mechanic mate for servicing!

18 year old Mazda 323 automatic

    1. Takes 5 starts every morning to get it out of the drive way without stalling.
    2. Since my cack cd player was wripped out 6 months ago, none of the lights inside the car work. So no clock, no door light, no key light, but at least the dashboard lights still work! Oh and the lights for the drive stick only work once you've hit it.
    3. Fuel gauge does not work! I fill up the car every 150 miles. Thats the only way to do it.
    4. Windscreen wipers make a sound like a screaming zombie.
    5. When the auto gearbox gets to the top of 3rd gear the car shakes around and makes a very loud rattling noise on the right side of the dashboard.
    6. Death hazard when crossing an intersection in the morning before the car has warmed up, as it will crawl accorss at 3mph before kicking into 2nd gear.
    7. Doesnt like going into 4th gear and will try and stay in 3rd at very high revs. Not good.
    8. When turning sharp corners often makes a loud creaking noise
    9. If you put your the "pedal to the metal" your more likely to stall the car than shoot off at high speed.
    10. Lots of dents on the driver door from 2 idiot's who went into my side.
    11. Panneling strips on passenger door hanging half off.
    12. Rear demister works for about 3 lines and takes forever.
    13. 5 minute's before air coming out of heater is actually warm.
    14. 1.5 litre engine that drives like 1.0 or worse.

I could go on, but I think thats more than enough.

    So, me = winner?

(edit) Sorry for resurrecting thread, but I love this forums "Similar threads" bit. Very useful. (/edit)
