    Question Help With My 306!

I am having a problem with my central locking. I locked my car using the key fob but when i came back to the car it didnt work. I unlocked the door with the key instead a tried to start the car, but because I hadnt used the key fob to disarm the immobiliser it wouldnt let me start the car. I managed to bump start it to get it home, since i have tried using both key fobs with new batteries in still no luck. In the engine bay there is a master switch which you can use to turn off the immobiliser but I dont have this key as I bought it second hand, and apparently is no longer available from Peugot!! has anyone got any ideas on how I might be able to reset the immobiliser so I can start my car??

I went to the peugot garage and they want £70 to check the keys for me and £40 plus VAT if I need a new key! Are they the only people that have the equipment to do this? Looks to be a problem with either the key or transponder that recieves the signal from the key. The only way suggested in the handbook to reset the immobiliser is with the key or using the specialist key in the engine bay, but surely there is a way to get around this?

Has been suggested to unplug two plugs under the back seat which are to do with the alarm/immobiliser, tried this and still no luck.

    Any help much apprieciated

Hang on a tick.. you bumped the car with the immobilser on? That sounds dodgy to me, if the immobiliser is on you wouldn't of bumped it surely?

Apparently the guy at Peugot said the immobiliser only cuts out the starter motor etc so you cant start it using the ignition

    Causing a major head ache!
