Well just to counter act the bad customer service i've heard from a few other threads on here (sorry to hear it david, coco etc)
I had a coil pack on its way out on Friday afternoon, so phone my local skoda dealer up, they can't fit it in the afternoon which is fair enough only 2hrs till close up and they don't work over the weekend, again no problem, my car is driveable, its just a bit grogey, its running on three cylinders in effect.
But they sort out the car in for a checkup and fix it at 2pm on Monday afternoon, Turn up at 1:50pm on Monday, ah Mr Gooch, leave your car here, hand over your keys, engineer is straight on the case.
I go and sit inside and query the service guy about this coil pack, (i've had one go before and this to me is a worry). No problem Mr Gooch, we'll replace them all just to make sure your car didn't get a fault batch when on production line.
They also had to fix a lambda sensor which was out because of this failure.
No problems no quibbles, (i think he said coil packs are retail £165 a piece!)
So my figuring i've had best part of £800 sorted within an hour of getting the car there, and was back at work by 3pm.
So next time you want customer service guys you know where to go shopping
