The trouble with that is it'd all be rushed through to completion at the expense of the workmanship, just to make a TV show - Beetle Crisis 2 is a prime example of what can happen when this is done.Originally Posted by Tonka777

Very true, and if nothing else, putting all the Youtube videos together and making one complete build log video would make for a fun few hours watching when the mini is complete.
I do like all of the x Is Born series that Mark Evans has done. I'm an aviation geek, but the 4x4 one was very good, highly recommended to anyone who hasn't seen it.

I thought it would be interesting to take a peek at the first link and then ended up watching the first 4 episodes. These guys are completely bonkers but they have kept me interested and fascinated by a subject that I have absolutely no interest in, the only reason I'm not watching more now is I have to go to bed, but I'll watch more later.

There's roughly a 2 month gap between episodes which is just long enough to forget about it completely, meaning you get a nice surprise when a new episode appears.
I have been following this as well. I really cannot wait for them to get it finished. Its going to be a BEAST!
It will, but it is the engineering and fabrication processes that have had me gripped. It is essentially a new build - the amount of original body shell left is minimal (roof, A B and rear pillars effectively!).
The delivery by the two guys is brilliant though.
