    have an american dash ffs!

My only time across the pond was in 1983, the year of the Vette. A friend of my Dads ran the local GM dealer and gave me one of the first full colour book-style brochures for the 1984 'plastic' vette. I've still got it hidden away but I distinctly remember that car had a fantastic digi dash!
    Googling away I found these:

go on, you know you want to
Thats more 'busy' than the Astra dash
I think Ive decided on the 'clean' look - the dash is now going to be a 'half pipe' the width of the car - about 9 inches in width, then where the console would be a 'steering wheel' sized half circle for the instruments. (what a rubbish description!)
If I can get a stack cheap enough, then thats nearly everything I need, apart from trans temp - though its a 'old' car, inside will be more high tech - carbon fibre etc etc
