    *gasp*

Comparing a Vitesse to a CRX?! Shame on you!!

I'm still undecided about the body kit. It won't be happening for at least a year, and if I went for it, I'd like to go for a black respray and the complete JDM look with amber light corners and black 15" Rotas with a polished rim.

    Pie in the sky tho

Aye mate keep it wolf in sheeps clothing, not sheep in wolfs clothing like so many cars are nowadays.

Also, mental note, when doing a photoshoot of your beloved car, dont take it to a pink carpark

Butuz, that's the Oracle car park in Reading that charged us £1.30 for the privilidge of 15 minutes! Everywhere else was closed yesterday... what's wrong with pink anyway?

The car in Banzai is nice, had a B18C6 dropped in for 200hp currently. The kit is a Polybauer (sp) which apparently is even rarer than a genuine Mugan kit. It's a very nice example though.

Nice i can see your pmanning to spend a fair whack, im happy enough with my KYB shox and springs at the mo, but for the future i think Tiens and EDFC are the best choice you can make. Your gonna have a right little go cart there!

What sort of spec are you going for engine wise? I assume your going for forgies and all that. And a turbo? Wow!

What sort of BHP you looking for, i assume 200+ starting to get a bit worried i might have to spend some serious cash in order to keep the Datsun in front!

    Btw you going to Japfest?

Not really given the engine much thought yet, but don't be surprised if it's some B18/20 turbo concoction

Yes I will be at Japfest with the CRX Owners Group, and hopefully doing a few laps too. Are you going as well?

Forget B20, I understand they're substantially taller than the B16/B18's and you've no extra height to play with!
A B18 with stage 1 mods should put you in the 200bhp league. Is your motor genuinely not VTEC? A shame as the B16 can be stroked to B18 so you wouldn't need a new block.
A useful additional resource to you will be the Honda Revolutions guys & gels (forum).

How far have you got with the engine? It maybe better to simply replace it with a pre-built turbo unit........

Yes ill be there and my cars on the SXOC stand happens to be #50 out of 50 (saved the best till last) so you and anyone else come say hello ill be wearing the hexus shirt probably . And i will quite happily be your passenger around the track if you want to take me!

I tried to get track time in one of the 2 SXOC only races but theres just too many members and not enough track time. I hope we can get a 3rd slot sorted, if not im not worried ive got some more mods and some extra fettling to do before i unleash it onto the track anyway

Look out for SXOC Ritchie's 600+BHP 200sx, SXOC Phil Morrison and co in their black and orange 200sx driftworks mobiles, and im looking forward to seeing (hearing actually) the Red 2.5 Twin turbo skyline powered 400bhp SX that was featured in last months Jap Performance mag.

It should be a great day im really looking forward to it.

Vim: Good point about the B20! The engine at the moment is a stock D16 with some sort of sRAM intake on it that the previous owner sorted out. It would be good to keep it as a D16 but there just seems to be more going for the B16/18 in terms of parts and resources.

Butuz you're welcome to ride shotgun for a few laps, although my dad and a mate are keen to come too so you'll have to fight amongst yourselves

Very much looking forward to it, the SXOC stand sounds excellent

I assume you mean a CAI (Cold-Air-Intake) when you say sRAM, it seems to be a common mod, especially on MB6's like mine.
The best supported cars by far are the B16 equipped E-Series Civics. The Integra gets a fair shout with it's B18C5 but most B18 owners like me can't get specific bits for love nor money.
This biggest difficulty for you will be your ECU and wiring setup as fitting something like a Hondata 200 (whith you'll need if you go super/turbo charged) may be a fiddly (though beneficial) operation!
