They work by GPS, so if its fixed, its detected. Radar stuff it will detect also (front and back) but by the time you detect them they've already got you..Originally Posted by Stoo

Those cameras facing away from you are alright though... When you see them you have a chance to brake... You never know if you've been got or not with the ones facing you Damn things

Road Angel 2 is the one to go for at the moment. I wouldn't touch a Snooper personally due to reasons I've listed in other threads. The Origin is a blummin good unit as well. RA2 is nice though cos it has an external GPS output so you can hook it up to your PDA for easy Sat Nav
