Don't ever, ever spray carb cleaner on an HKS SSQ. They're coated in laquer which keeps them shiny. Mine's no longer shiny. Gutted

Yeah, it won't polish up now no matter how much elbow grease I use. Might be an excuse to get it powercoated so long as the covering isn't too thick.. or perhaps spray it in high temp paint.. Hmm... a matt black SSQ... tempting...
Carb Cleaners bad stuff, never spray it into a fire it burns off peoples leg hairs and knocks other people off there chairs
