Need some advice folks - my housemate has a Peugeot 307 and when he leaves it overnight the next morning when he starts the car and the radio/CD player is turned on for about 15-20 minutes the audio is worse than me after a good jalfrezi the night before.

The bass is "farty", the volume is very rubbish indeed and his battery is not dead as I've tested this a few times.

FYI - This is not the 1 with the "replacements" that are in the other thread, this is all standard Pug stock equipment in this

Does it get better after that ammount of time? or is it allways that bad?

Have you tried another head unit? Could be the amplifier's output stage is knackered. Or the speakers.
