    Paintwork Prep

Now I should really know the answer to this - but, I dont, so I thought I would ask you lot
Now a certain money pit of mine has had the same paintwork for at least the last 15 years - of which I would guess it hasnt seen polish in around 6
I will be removing the painted sign writing using very fine 1200 grit W&D then finishing off with G3 paste - but, and this is where the question comes in - I also have G3 & G10 liquid which I want to do the whole car in, reason being that if you run your finger along some of the paint it leaves a smear on your finger
Now - is a normal 2 handled buffer up to the task (with a lambs wool sock) or do I need to get a sponge insert for it?
    Cheers

Farecla g10 should really be used with a foam bonnet/buffer or you could end up with some nasty swirl marks, IIRC it should also be used wet, the g3 i'd probably do by hand as it is very abrasive.

    Cheers Schrick,
I intended to go the paste G3 by hand - is this the same for the liquid (as I thought that could be mopped?)
Had also intended to use these 'wet' using a handheld spray
Thanks for the info on the G10 - probably overkill - but what the hell!
    Cheers
