    Track day

It's my dad's birthday coming up and i'd like to get him a ticket to a track day.

Preferably if I could get him a drive in a Prosche or a Bentley GT Continental (his favourite car) that'd be brilliant.

No idea what prices they are and I have no idea who is a decent person to arrange one with.

    Advice would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks,

From what I've seen of these things they're rubbish value for money. You drive for about 15 minutes at the most, and when they say "Porsche turbo" and have a pic of a 2005 model you look a bit more closely at the T+C and it's some old 1970's model that's clapped out!

Just something to bear in mind - they're not all as good as they're cracked up to be!

I did one at Rockingham. Had about an hour in the car at least. Theres other stuff to do on the cheap whilst your there too. You also learn how to take corners, how to brake effectively, how to maintain your speed and just how grippy the back end of a Lotus Elise is!
