    Car audio help needed!

ok... So as you all know I have my new car! But its audio suck, and the pasenger speaker is blown! I wish to put new quality speakers in the car but dont know how... I looked at the rear speakers and there 4 ohms 20 watts! Only 20 watts??? Now what? I dont wish to replace the head unit but it only puts out 20W Do I need a amp? Also what are crossovers, and do I need them? And whats a decent speaker brand?

    Many thanks for your help!

I have been doing some reading and I have learned that I need a four chanel amp that has high level inputs so I can keep my stock head unit. I am realizing that the hardest part of this will be running the wires!

what do I do if I have 55W RMS frount speakers and 100W RMS rear speakers? And I have a 400W RMS 4 chanel amp? Wont that give each speaker 100W RMS and blow the front speakers?

front and rear speakers should ideally be the same size as your current ones in order to make installation easy. 20w is actually plenty - if its rms you'd not want more power than 20w..
