Thing is it was reported as "breaking a 30mph limit by just 8mph" now imagine if I'd gone past a school at "just" 8mph over the limit...

Looks like some good may come of it after all.
This guy was apparantly within the law to be doing 159mph as the speeding law doesn't apply to police officers if it would prevent them performing their duties properly. Now, surely they can be within the law with regards to speeding (if it doesn't apply), but the driving could still be classed as dangerous and as I see it that speed is dangerous, especially seeing as a formula 1 driver lost it at 'only' 70 mph today in qualifying and these guys are the best drivers there are.
