Astra GSi bonnet vents. Quite subtle I think. Far better than sticking a Pulsar GTiR scoop on the front!

OMG, just had an email from QED, I mailed them when my engine popped...

    Hello Trig

We do not keep any standard engines in stock. we do however have a modified engine here, it has 205BHP and is fitted with throttle bodies etc and we could sell you for £3750.00 normal price would be £4500.00 but this is anengine that was ordered by somebody who cancelled at the last moment.
    regards
    Simon.

Who wants to lend me £3750 then?

    Trig,
Any idea what a 16v Red Top and Box from a Cav SRi 16v is worth..... or indeed how much a totally std Cav SRi 16v (with LOADS of Vauxhall history) is worth.
Mine is still parked round the back - needs an MOT (and a bit of work, exhaust manifold cracked, headlight holed) but is otherwise in excellent condition.
Just trying to work out if its worth breaking or spending the money and MOT'ing it - or selling as is.
    Thanks for any help
    Iain

Engines worth nothing, I'll take it off your hands for a few beer tokens

Nah if the XE's in good nick with a coscast head you can get 300-350 for the lump/ecu and box, as for the whole car if its in need of work then maybe £500 for it...
