    Notice they say up to 30bhp depending on engine spec

    Well - if your cars running 350bhp or more then the standard manifold will be limiting you at the higher end of the rev range - so putting a tubular manifold on will probably give you 30bhp extra at 6000+rpm.

    So no, its not taking the piss. And yes - it is a fantastic bargain. I would buy one, if i didnt already have one

    I also heard that the stock manifolds used on the SR20 engine (Turbo and n/a) are total rubbish and limit performance quite a bit?

    They are a bit rubbish if you look at them inside, BUT to be honest you only really can notice a big difference at HIGH levels of tune. I know my mate is having his engine rebuilt for about 400bhp and he is using the stock manifold.

    Ive only got 250bhp and yet ive got a stainless tubular one. *shrug* it looks good in the engine bay anyway
