The I-vtec's a direct inject is it not?
nope, vtec just does multiple cams, i-vtec uses hydrolics (i believe) to advance the timing

    I know what it is, it's the i-vtec-i 2L

It's got direct injection into the combustion chamber. FSi stylee

    Bingo! Or a BMW.

The reason for teh I suffix on a lot of cars is from the old days when most cars ran carbs and the high performance ones had fuel injection. They also tended to stick lumpier cams in them along with another few bits to boost performance hence the association of fuel injection with performance. Many of the older fuel injected cars were ironically worse on fuel than their carbed cars as a result!

I don't see the relation at all. It isn't even subtle-sporty, nothing to really catch the eye.

    Looking at that rear shot

    206 profile
    big wheels
    heavily lowered
    big bumpers
    Unusual exhausts

Just looks like a barried 206 to me from that angle

There will be no Focus cosworth, there can't be now after the sale, there may be a focus RS though, the project was withdrawn after a lack of public enthusiasm around the fiesta rs but there are (as always) rumors that there'll be another one to compete with the megan 225 and the new astra vxr as the focus st isn't quite up to the job.

Nope, I hate it. Think I'll wait and get an old one, or current one. Honda seem to have gone the way Ford have with the Focus, i.e. made it more ugly, but the civic in this case is the worse of the two designs.
