    New Octavia vRS (56k)

Couple of spy shots of the new Octavia vRS due early next year. It's going to have the 200bhp TFSI engine and the 170bhp PDTD engine. Looks quite nice & subtle imo.

Now considering i have the old VRS model, i have to say i don't like that at all.

My front grill is more agressive, and gives a much more purposeful view of the car, the alloys on the current VRS are more to my taste than the ones on that one and i really dont like the look of the narrowing bonnet on the car...

I guess the other thing i'm thinking is that 180bhp is more than enough for a fwd drive car.

I'm trying to understand the constant push for more bhp when without a bit of discipline you plant the throttle and go nowhere heh.

I quite like it, think I prefer the Combi in these pics. Thing to remember though is that this is still the 'dog' version. Those are only the sport option wheels for the current sport model. I think there is more to come

    Are you on Briskoda?

Much prefer the looks of the old one (theres a gorgeous bright yellow one in town!), the new one seems to be mutating into a Beemer wannabe...

I have to say I like the looks of both, and a 170hp diesel estate'd suit me nicely - but then I'm well OVER 30...

I'm afraid it'll be 170bhp of diesel with a band of about 20rpm. All the ones over 90 have been like it.....

diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, SUPERCAR, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel diesel, diesel, diesel, diesel.
