Aww nice to know you all care

Got to head off to Halfrauds this morning to buy a torx screwdriver so I can remove the hard top and fit the soft top.

What motor is in that one? Only limited edition id seen was the VXR, or is it just a limited colour? Either way, sweet ride.

Also, this thread is useless without pictures.

Sweet, love the black wheels, and one of the only cars that can pull off yellow, along with the elise/exige and lambos.

Done a hundred miles or so in her today.
Motorway, Dual Carriage Way and some A/B road stuff.

    Well impressed.
Like Zak said, you have to let her guide you through some roads rather than trying to steer her.

Power is impressive, even in 5th gear at 70+ she still pulls well.

The Vauxhall Sports Exhaust burbles nicely when ticking over, and pops very slightly when dropping off the accelerator in gear.

Certainly gets you noticed in her subtle yellow colouring.

    Different to the westy....
In the westy 20mph felt like 40mph
    In the VX220 40 feels like 20
well not quite, but you know what I mean.

There is deffo more space in the VX, and it's nice having a proper wiper, a sexy single wiper that works as well

Gonna take the hardtop off today and put the softtop on, see how it affects noise levels etc.

that's the best damn description anyone could ask for.

A VX 220 is suprisingly easy to drive fast. The kinda fast that leaves small family hatches wondering "where did he go" and the VX driver not realising how quick he was going anyway.

    However, it still entertains.

I love those black rims. They rock, AND brake dust doesn't show too much

The back gets dirty, coz it's vertical it gets no air flow, so all the dirt/rain sticks to it... but who cares!!

I am in love with the noise.

Dak and Mrs Dak have seen it, and I think it gets their approval.

I've now driven it with hardtop, softtop, no roof/windows down and no roof/windows up.

The noise really changes depending on the roof/windows.

Oh and the looks you get from people... it's fantastic.

It has a Steinmetz grill on the front, so it doesn't have the vaux griffin, so unless people know it's a vx220 or see the griffin on the back, they've no idea what it is.
