A few quick basics:
An air filter gives you a 50HP increase in power, as does adding an exhaust tip with at least a 4" diameter. Lowering and stiffening the suspension allows it to out-corner almost every supercar in existance, and adding a large spoiler accompanied with a wide body kit will add approximately 83bhp to your engine's output. Ensure your tracksuit-bottoms are tucked into your socks also, for minimal wind resistance.

Also, ask, next time you take your car to be serviced ask if you can watch/help most little garages wont mind.
Dont belive anything you read in max power or anything like that.
Get an old car and a haynes manual and tinker, (by old i mean a 100 quid junker of a capri or something) see if you can get it to run, it doesnt need to be insured taxed (remember to send off sorn). Theres a lot of pleasure to be had from getting a non working motor to start.
you lot......
tsk tsk
the poor bloke asks a question and you confusticate him with rubbish
When all the REALLY needs to know it that....

I'll have a lookie at that site sometime. Been wondering whether to get an air filter (K&N) for my 1.8 focus.

No, its a complete waste of cash basically, you wont notice much difference at all, even if its to impress people, spend the money on a claybar and some decent wax itll be much betterOriginally Posted by Stringent
I tend to replace my pannel filters with a K&N element when I around to it. Get them for about £25 now and they last ages.Originally Posted by Stringent

Anyways, just picked up a K&N air filter off fleabay going cheap. Well a lot chaper than the normal £50 in the shops! Should arrive tomorrow. Guess I'll have to get my hands dirty, either that or I could invest in some rubber gloves. Oh I also need to adjust my projector lights as they are unequal. Can someone remind me?
