    No, just curious as to what kind of top speed youll be looking at. Ive always fancied building up one of these for a spitfire, but unfortunately havent got the space to properly do it, and doing it half assed isnt really an option.

    I always thought the tens where a bit small, although i bet tires are expensive for the twelves. Im sure i remember seeing one with 12x12s on the rear, but i might have made it up.

    top speed, 100 might be pushing it. but above 100 and bits start wobbling / falling off on a mini

    Tuned 998's are great fun, mine would happily rev to 7.5k, and that was just st1 & a 12g206 cooper head, yours should fly - that's a seriously wicked spec mate and it looks sweet

    Were those std 998 con-rods?

    I just built a 1293 (from a morspeed kit funnily enough), you don't appreciate what a difficult job it is til you start, heh. The only bad thing I found with the mspd block is the paint comes off quite easily, might just be me though & all the important stuff like clearances were perfect.
