Yep. 3 points and £50. What car was it? Trying to mimick the 220's performance were you?

and 5 years on your insurance mate
Its a pain in the bum tbh. I got my 3 points doing 38 in a 30 zone on a poorly signed dual carriageway! Rozzers in a van too. Bah! Only about 2.5 years left, and I don't own a car at the moment anyway.
Not around too often!
Another benifit of biking- The truvelo cant get a number plate on a motorbike (unless I've grossly misunderstood the concept of them anyhow). Unlucky tho mate, although we may not agree with speed limits they are there for a reason, so take it on the chin, and learn your lesson
Dave
just remember, they don't notify you within 14 days you can contest it. I know someone who received thier notification through after 18 days, wrote to them and it was cancelled.
So count down the days
Matt.
Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net
wont they send it to your dad though? say it was him lol coz if theres arguments over who was driving, they fine the vehical owner.
That would work if it was a rear facing camera - except truvelos take a picture of the front of your car/van/truck - so no disputes over whos driving unfortunately.

I got my license back last week for 60 in a 50
I got 60 quid fine and 3points.
Had 11 years of clean license which considering the way I drive was a miracle
you might get nothing - perhaps it was out of film.. ya never know till you get the form thru..

I was under the impression truvlos didn't flash?
http://www.speedcamerasuk.com/Truvelo.htm
Says the flash is infrared so you can't see it
Nah, the Truvelo's DO flash, but must have a magenta filter (this one did as the flash was purpley).
Dad's already got points and I've so far survived with zero for 9yrs, so I guess on the law of averages I am due points.
I'm surprised I've lasted this long tbh, with the amount of miles I do (30k+ a year).
Oh well, **** happens, another 9 to go
