    Standard lump is 150bhp.

Hotshot header, or SSAutochrome header will add around 5-10bhp (more with extra mods), adding a full exhaust system with this will obv help a bit

Filter, best to stick with standard airbox and add a panel filter, gains minial, maybe 1-2bhp. Or you could get a hotshot cold air intake, can add around 5bhp, but you need to hack your engine bay a bit to get it to fit.

Cams are worth doing, best ones are JWT S3R cams, which can add between 10-15bhp.

After this, it gets into serious money cause you're either looking at Turboing it, throttle boddies, or getting a VVT engine and swapping them over.

My GT is slightly different, most of the parts are HKS. Exhaust system is a full HKS super dragger (manifold, downpipe, CAT, backbox etc) cams are HKS, intake is K&N (may be chaging though). It's also got a HKS AFR (air fuel regulat thingy).

Suspension wise, the KYB AGX adjustable shocks are excellent, with Eibach or Apex springs. If you have the money, there are some coilovers made by D1 (i think) that are also excellent.

Standard brakes are pretty good, though a lot of owners go for uprated discs and pads, discs Black Diamond or EBC are good, pads Mintex, Black Diamond and EBC again are highly recomended.

    Things to look out for:
Rust on spoiler base (common on GT's, nothing you can do about it really)
    CV boots (split quite often)
Suspension squeek/knocking (nothing major, just Primera suspension!)

Best place for advice, would be www.npoc.co.uk. There are some very nice cars up for sale on there at present. An iron bru GT and an aqua blue GTLE aswell iirc.

The rust around the spoiler seems to be common on all versions of the Primera (the ones with the spoiler anyway.. Si, SRI, GT)

Some problems that you can get with the Primera:

    Squeaking front seats
    Rattling front windows
    Knocking Multi-link front suspension arms
Poor resistance to stone chips (G20 and Primera)
    Loose interior trim
    Stretching seat material
Sometimes, hard to select 1st or 2nd gear
Problems with Bose stereo (G20 models)
    Not Powerful enough (G20 models)

Edit: Good image of what Gobbo and me mean about the spoiler:

I agree on the stone chips one, the paint on my GT is softer than cottage cheese.
