I've been thinking about pass plus, some people say they get discounts of a few 100 and some say no discount. Harry, did your insurance company support pass plus as they all offer different discounts

pass plus for me would save around 120 quid a year but then i factored in the "Can i be bothered? factor" and the price of actually doing it and decided..... nah.

Oh yeah and 1.6 focus'es FTW! (not biased..... honest)

although could do with more powah!

Indeed, even I managed to boot the throttle out of corners :S

They are nice cars to drive, I must admit. Build quality is better than ever tbh

Pass Plus I've booked up, and considering the car I'm looking to get insured on (v70) I need all the help I can get

I've done some research on pass plus, based on group 1 insurance.

    No experience, 0yr NCB - £1070
No experience, 0yr NCB, Pass Plus - £910 ish
    1 year named driver - £750 ish
1 year named driver, Pass Plus - £690 ish

Seeing as i've already got insurance (Dad as main driver), i won't bother with pass plus seeing as i'll only save about £60 next year. The quotes are from quinn direct

Nah, should be a bit more reasonable than dad's boxster anyhow...

With the Pass Pluss, most insurance company class it separately to experience, so its Licence + Pass Plus (the same idea as Licence + IAM etc) and you get the reduction that way. I'm yet to phone the insurance company and find out how much it will cost tho
