Rotor? Are you American? :E
What does a BMW M3 use?

.
1 pot front, 1 pot rear.
Explain to me why motoring journalist praise the BMW brakes?
Disk size................................................

Butuz
I also have to state that theres alot more to brakes being "good" than Disc/rotor size.
the caliper/piston design have alot to do with it too..

A common complaint with the Skoda fabia vRS is the std brakes aint very good..
its not that they dont stop the car.. but they dont offer feedback and a nice progressive pedal feel... and its down to the design of the calipers.. for some reason the fabia/ibiza/polo GT have different calipers to the rest of the VAG range with 288mm discs..
The single-pot caliper that every other VAG car uses can be used on 288mm and 312mm disc setups by changing the caliper carrier.. ive gone for the 312mm on mine, but i bet id be fine on the 288s..
just changing the calipers has made a massive difference to the feel of the brakes completely! ovbiously actual braking power has much-improved with the increase in disc size+use of racing pads.. but the brakes feel so much more confident... its difficult to explain, but i hope some of you car people understand
Also TaRox do 6, 8 and 12pot calipers.... nice
