A super hearty congratulations
Take ya time leading up to the practical and make sure you get plenty of driving in.
On the day, keep yourself super busy. Sounds daft but if you are busy, you won't be fretting about the test and your driving will reflect your ability more than your nerves

^ some good advice, but try to get practise in on areas you are not so good at, for me it was overtaking cyclists, sounds stupid, but I had very little practise at it, so I didnt know not to overtake on a hill, and failed first attempt :/
Congrats. Hopefully you will become a good a driver as me one day
Yeh congrats, i hope you do well unless your one of those dumb people that kit their cars up and think they are great
Take your time my cousin failed, she went into it to fast.
I'm not like that. I've got 2k to spend on car and insurance, so am shopping around atm. I want something a bit bigger than a corsa/fiesta etc, so have been looking at Bravo's and Megane's.
I just checked on the DSA website, and I can have a test next tuesday, or mid march. Think I'm gonna wait. I want to pass first time.
Congrats mate, book your test up - will come round sooner than you think
Dave
Well done The Hazard perception test part seems to be a matter of luck more than skill though - I barely passed it and most driving instructors fail apprently - it penalises if you're 'too' good.
Oooh have you passed then? if you have you beat me i'm still at it! test booked, not saying when ( hmm heard that before? )
Well done htid for passing the theory, HP is a load of rubbish anyway, who cares as long as it's a pass, I didn't care what mark I got on that ( 53/75 ) I thought the questions are more important ( 35/35 )
robertirwin, your right, many people fail the HP because they see the hazards too soon ie, not withing the time frame specified by the DSA, experienced drivers havent a hope...my Instructor said he got the minimum mark when he had to do it recently.
They are changing the theory test from September, 50 questions instead of 35 and you have to get a mark of 43, as far as I know the HP remains unchanged, the fee is increasing too, it will £28.50, so if any of you's are planning to do your theories do it soon
