Greetings Corsair reps o/
I've been unfortunate to have my Corsair HX620 PSU blow up on me yesterday, after just over a years smooth running. I've received my RMA number for it but was a little surprised to see the return address as California in the US. As a UK customer this is going to mean a very hefty shipping bill to return the PSU and I was wondering if any of those costs are refunded by Corsair? One of the reasons I bought this PSU was due to the 5yr warranty and its a bit of a bummer if its going to cost me £20-£30 just to get a replacement; especially as it would only cost me around £50 for a brand new PSU with similar specs.
Also, do I have to send everything back (i.e. all the cables, original box, etc) or can I just send the PSU itself in a generic shipping box?
Thanks in advance.
Incidentally, it was bought from Play.com in Apr '07 (one of the very few places that had them in stock at the time).
