    HX620 return question

    Greetings Corsair reps o/

I've been unfortunate to have my Corsair HX620 PSU blow up on me yesterday, after just over a years smooth running. I've received my RMA number for it but was a little surprised to see the return address as California in the US. As a UK customer this is going to mean a very hefty shipping bill to return the PSU and I was wondering if any of those costs are refunded by Corsair? One of the reasons I bought this PSU was due to the 5yr warranty and its a bit of a bummer if its going to cost me £20-£30 just to get a replacement; especially as it would only cost me around £50 for a brand new PSU with similar specs.

Also, do I have to send everything back (i.e. all the cables, original box, etc) or can I just send the PSU itself in a generic shipping box?

    Thanks in advance.

Incidentally, it was bought from Play.com in Apr '07 (one of the very few places that had them in stock at the time).

Don't Corsair have an office in Europe? I thought there was one in Germany...?

    Re: HX620 return question

I bought it from Play.com in Apr '07, so its just after the usual 12months warranty with the retailer unless Corsair have some sort of special arrangement with them.

    Re: HX620 return question

Requests (Caps, Cables etc.) from Central Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) simply drop me an email and I´ll be pleased to help you out

German speaking interested users please also visit: German Corsair Forum

RMA up to this point only available via US but we are working on it. Shipping just the PSU should be fine. No need toi attach original package and cables.
