    Re: Corsair HX850

Obviously take that with a slight pinch of salt, as when installed in a system those graphs become a bit inaccurate. My 520W HX remained at the idle noise level far beyond Corsair said it would which was great (still the same 20dB or so at 380W), whereas my 1000W HX was the full 44dB at only 700W.

    Re: Corsair HX850

Thanks Yellowbeard, In your opinion why is the Corsair HX 850 better than say an Enermax Revolution 85+ PSU 850 PSU ? What does it offer that Enermax does'nt - come on u know u wanna tempt me away hehe

    Re: Corsair HX850

I would say because Corsair has a much better track record of reliability than Enermax, and the Corsair is the same PSU as the Enermax, but a full £43 cheaper. That's a lot of money to pay for just an Enermax logo.

This is absolutely incorrect. There is no Enermax PSU made on our designs.

    Re: Corsair HX850

I don't mean it's the same physically, but specifications, performance etc. it's the same, sorry for the confusion.
