Hi, I'm a bit of a hexus newbie, so if this is in the wrong area please don't destroy me! xD
Anyway, i recently got a 8800Gt, which I am going to place in a new rig once the rest of my gear arrives, I have been watercooling for around 2 years, the cpu and chipset are watercooled in my current P4 springdale rig (which is quite old xD). But enough of this, my question is whether you would recommend a full cover waterblock or a single block, and use memory and Vrm heaksinks on the card (for a single block i was thinking of using a d-tek fuzion gfx).
I know that a single block will cool the Gpu better than a full cover block, and is easier to carry over to a new card in the future, however my overheating paranoid brain says that leaving those small heatsinks on the memory and vrm's without a fan blowing directly onto them is a bad idea. And recruiting a new fan to blow over the heatsinks will nullify the aural benefits of using watercooling.
What do you guys suggest? Thanks in advance, i really appreciate it! =]
