Word has it ECS is getting back into the graphics game, looking to launch some 60 cards this coming year.
Motherboard maker Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), which terminated its graphics card production in 2004, is looking to resume the business in 2006, the Chinese-language Apple Daily cited company sources as saying.

According to the paper, ECS plans to launch a new graphics card series in January and reveal its graphics card roadmap by March. ECS has set a goal of introducing about 60 graphics cards in 2006, indicated the paper, adding that the company has reached agreements with ATI Technologies and Nvidia for them to be its direct supplier of graphics chips.
