OMG that Raven RV01 looks really difficult to put any water cooling in. It also looks massive, so which market are they aiming for with that thing? Also where do all the cables go if they exit at the top of the case?? Looks VERY impractical. lol absolute garbage.

On the other hand the Fortress FT-01 in gold looks amazing and looks similar to the coolermaster 690. Very gd.

Well I believe it's designed for air cooling given it's layout and bottom to top (logical airflow) design.

Looks much the same size as any big air cooled case.

The cables come out of the top underneath the top panel, it's in a video preview somewhere.

    Re: New Silverstone cases.

Apart from the motherboard rotation they pinched my bottom to top air flow idea

I think that it does look very intresting, there must be some form of right angled connectors for the video leads as there doen't look like there enough space ontop to just bend the cable after the plug.

Must have some really long cables on the fron pannel USB and audio to reach all that way and I'd hate to see the length of a floppy disk drive cable given that many motherboard have the socket at the bottom.

    Re: New Silverstone cases.

The Raven looks set to finally hit the shelves, will be pricey from the looks of it, around £100+?

Well this link seems to indicate so: http://www.vr-zone.com/articles/silv...18th/6183.html

Will definitely be getting this for my next upgrade, my siblings Antec900 looks a bit bland to me next to this. Shame the pricing is a bit on the high side but hey that's nothing next to a Lian-Li, is it now?

    Re: New Silverstone cases.

I'm definatly going to consider this, anyone know of a release date for the UK?

btw, if you go onto the silverstone site you can see the 140mm fans are just below to Mobo with the 120mm exhausting air from the CPU Heatsink. The top of the case has a prisim shape that is removable to plug the wires in, though it does look like a tight fit for VGA and DVI Cables (a DVI->VGA adapator is definatly out what what I can tell).

    Re: New Silverstone cases.

Seem to remember reading that the Raven includes rightangled adaptors for graphics cards, don't know how many.
it should be out soon, steel not aliminium and was around £80 but that was before the pound collapsed so no idea what it'll be now.

I still love the fortress, if I had £145 to blow on a case that would be the case I'd go for.

Yeah I need some detailed dimensions for the Fortress and then I can see if its possible to fit my 2x PA160 rads in there if it is I may consider getting one when funds allow Then again I haven't had the TJ-06 that long, man I'm just never happy when my PC in in one piece and working gotta be fiddling with something!
