Sorry, let me sort the noise issue then pics will follow
Well they finally came in, so it's now just down to parcelfarce to actually deliver it.
They have developed the bad habit of not even bothering recently, just drop the package and the sorry we missed you card at the local post office.

Well the case arrived yesterday
However before I got it out of the box, CLONK!
Our whole block of flats lost power, so I've not really been able to give it a good look.
I did get it unboxed and gave it a once over by candle light.
Inital impressions are very good, yes the metal is thin, shows on the flexability of the side panel and the fact that the case is so very light.
However the overall case seems fairly ridged despite that
The paint finish looks* and feels good.
*by candle light
I'll try to put together a full review over the weekend (the power better be back by then)

Will this case support a 9800GTX+ XXX edition card.
Thanks
He did here

There's approximately 11inches between the expansion card slots and the hard drive cage, so a 10.5inch graphics card should fit without hassle (as long as it's sideway faceing power sockets)
the 9800gtx is 10.5 inches long with side faceing power sockets, so yes it'll fit

Bottom facing psu - does that mean fan is facing down ? what are the benefits of this? Or have I got this wrong and it's facing up?
Having the PSU in the bottom of the case with the motherboard above it means you can use the top of the case for additional large extraction fans.
Having a bottom mounted PSU facing down (ie the fan side down) means it's pulling in cool air from outside the case and not taking in warm air from in side the case, this helps keep the psu cool.
Keeping the PSU cool generally improves it's efficiency and prolongs it's life.

Oh okay, so you're using extra fans to compensate for the PSU looking down. What does that mean for overal noise levels?
tbh I haven't built a rig in over 5 years. In all my builds my PSU has always sat above cpu taking hot air out through rear. This is new for me.
But the question of noise level - if you'e aiming for a silent rig then is this better? This way you can get 120mm silent fans or is ther more advanatage to use PSU with quiet 120-mm ball bearing fan.
Well to be honest, from my experience adding all these side fans and top extraction fans as well as intake fans doesn't decrease the overall temperatures by such substantial amounts. Most 120mm fans are close to being silent anyway if they're the low RPM type.
I don't think having the PSU at the top or bottom makes the pc generally more quiet, it just means your PSU will probably last slightly longer as Pob mentioned as it'll run cooler. It could perhaps means the fan doesn't speed up as much (but PSUs fan rarely speed up anyway).
It does, however, mean the temperature inside the case will be much lower as PSUs generally aren't the best to use an exhaust. Even a very slow, no brand 120mm exhaust fan stuck on the back of your case will be better I imagine. It's especially good when you have a tower cooler with a 120mm fan blowing towards the 120mm exhaust fan. It acts almost as a dual push-pull cooler for your CPU. I have a 120mm side fan as it does seem to help with the graphics card temperature. However the side fan and intake doesn't help that much in terms of temperature for the CPU but without the exhaust the CPU temperature does rise.
I haven't really experimented with the top extraction fan slots though, I'm guessing they'll have the same effect as an exhaust really so basically seeing as I already have an exhaust, the marginal gains from adding fans to the top won't be worth it.
