    Non-cool coolermaster, suggestions?

    Morning all,

Ok last night I had a major problem surface, my Coolermaster ATC-210 is causing me some problems, major heat problems.

I have a P4 2.4 533, 1gb of PC 2700, and a Sapphire 9800XT on a MSI 845Max 2, problem I have is the heat from the system is causing the perspex on the side to expand when playing games, and doing high intensity jobs. This is not a problem in itself and it does play FarCry perfectly, but I just installed Colin McRae 4 and I have MAJOR problems. The game will run for a few minutes, then the high speed is coming on on the Sapphire Card and the fan is rattling slightly, but the game is jumping, MAJORLY. The whole game goes jumpy no matter how low I set the graphics.

I have taken the side off the case and now it runs without problems, so it has to be a heat issue and with only 2 x 80mm fans there not enough obviously going through the case in terms of airflow.

Sooooo I am considering the alternative cases, so far I have the Antec P160 on my list, but anyone got any ideas or other suggestions? The coolermaster is already annoying me with the noise lol

    cheers m@

I am very very impressed with my Lian-li PC60 case...very quite, (comes with 4 80mm fans) and keeps my computer nice a cool.

sorry i misread, change the crappy 9800xt cooler for a decent one.

Also If you havent got one already add a fan by the cpu to exhaust the hot air out and another fan down the bottom at the front wont hurt either. The air temp must be quite hot for the case's plexi to expand...
