Ok final update as erm its FINISHED!!! Woooooooot!!!!

Well almost I have 2 things I could do one is to extend the cpu fan cable which is a touch short. The other is the atx i/o port cover I may not get around to this for a while as my new project is to take center stage from this week.

The final thing to do was to fit the switches into place. I had a few problems the first switches were too small so I had to get some larger ones. I then had to trim the plastic guides so that they are pressed perfectly.

In normal mac cases the led is green which lights up the power switch. I went for blooo when it lights the gloo is more of a purple colour which looks even better.

    Anyway on to the pics

Heres the switches being put into place:

Now for some its finished general shots:

CD Drive out in a general desk shot:

Again with the cd drive in

Hope you've enjoyed the work log. The project will have to be sold to make way for the next project in a bit so I will have to make the most of it it while its here.

Bcos the orginal cd bays would foul the motherboard prventing the door from shutting or me putting ram in the system

I will be selling the case with the psu and the mobo and probably the dvd drive as well. This bcos the case is set up for the mobo and psu so anyone buying one would only have to get their own anyway.

If anyone is really interested drop me a line via pm/ email

    Thanks for the compliments

It was hard, I recommend not bothering trying to unsolder them as its very hard just use wire snips to cut the ports off bit by bit

    yeh thats what i'd do.

then if ya wished ya could desolder the offcuts very easily.

ya just dont have time to desolder them all before the solder sets again.
