They are a waste of money tbh unless you need a hdmi port and a black chasis!! just buy the hard drive seperate and slip it in.

I was thinking the same... The HD-DVD drive is only available in white as well, I wouldn't really want a white HD-DVD drive sat on top of my black 360/

I thought about getting an Elite yesterday when i saw them in Best Buy and Wal-mart. But decided against it seeing as MS haven't done enough to sort out the issues in my view.
