I'm tempted to get Shivering Isles, but I've got a few other games to get out of the way first. And yeah, Oblivion is very time consuming (but also really enjoyable)

Hard work, time consuming same thing. Either way, Oblivion is still great value for money ,£25 for a game that'll give you months of gameplay = bargain
Pittsburgh steelers, maimi hurricanes, Wisconsin badgers, Bristol Rovers, Man United - thats right i love sports
back on about gamer points.
It really keeps the game going instead of trading it in for another game. It annoys me how people just go out to get gamer points, when i have been playing some games people have been boasted about their score
I play 360 games for fun, but I think achievements add a lot to the game, adds in little challenges you would've otherwise not thought up of. A good example of this is Dead Rising, theres lots of cool achievements that breath new life into the game, instead of going for plainly completing 72 hour mode I could go for the cool challenges they set. There are some games though where the achievements are pointless.
Enchanted Arms for example, complete the game's story and you get all 1000 points, it's a good game, but the achievements don't really add much to it like they do in games like Dead Rising.
