    XBL Router compatibility question.

I've not played any multiplayer over XBL for quite a while and the last time I did I was using a different router to what I have now.

I've noticed when playing Forza and the race times are uploaded that when I check the friend scores that not all are showing up. For instance in one of the 5 race season event, on the first race I have 6 friend times showing, then on the seconds race it's only showing 2 times and the 3rd race it's showing all the times again.

I've looked a little on the net, and I see some people have problems accessing game rooms and so on with some routers. Would this also be the same sort of thing? I noticed as I have been playing through the single player game, that not many friends times were showing up, I just though that maybe people are playing on XBL rather than doing the single player part. But why would people miss a race in the middle of a season event and go to the next (I don't think you can do that anyway)so that's what made me think my router might not be getting all the information from XBL ok.

    Any thoughts?

I would have thought most if not all routers would either work with live or not work, not sort of half work, anyway maybe the router needs the ports opening have a look for a guide on xbox.com or google for the ports the 360/live needs..... or it could just be that with Forza 2 being such a popular new game the servers are struggling a bit, I could and probably am wrong on that though.

I've opened all the ports mentioned on the Xbox site. I think there is something to do with NAT settings that stops you accessing some people on XBL, but I'm not 100% sure, and I have no idea how NAT works.

Just seems weird that I'm not seeing many times on Forza, it might just be me tho.

Probably, I and a few friends did have problems trying to connect to a game in forza the other day.
