surely the XBL bieng banned wouldnt bee too much of a problem as i would guess 80% would have shown the lights whilst randomly breaking, meaning XBL still fine.

I've just got one problem before I'd risk it. If it's just a RROD error why just stick it on eBay and get the going price (£30-£40?) for a broken one? Surely if you just wanted rid it'd make far more sense to get it replaced, especially considering all 360s are covered at the moment, and then sell a working unit for at least 3 times as much? I suppose we are talking eBay, so common sense doesn't necessarily apply. Might be worth a punt if you're a bit of a gambler.
