    Fifa 2008 Demo

Is it me or does this game really not play very well. Fair enough, I am a Pro Evo man through and through but I just can't get over how slow the gameplay feels.

I was just trying it out to see if it could tempt me into buying it, but it has done anything but. Would be interestingto know what others think?

    Re: Fifa 2008 Demo

i donwloaded it and its exactly the same has the last game. the gameplay is still way behid pes. to me the gameplay is just not sharp enough and i feel that the game is just too slow and the response is slow too.

overal a very slow game has still a long way to go before you can even consider comparing the two. pes has nothing to worrie about yet again

I do think that they get slightly better each year but it's still a franchise far behind Pro Evo

    Re: Fifa 2008 Demo

There's something very different about the gameplay in this new one. Can't quite put my finger on it. It certainly seems slower and through balls are harder to execute.

Not sure whether I like whatever they've done.

I'd guess it would be in the next issue of OXM, but unless you've got Xbox live I guess there isn't another way to download it.

You could probably check by going to http://www.oxm.co.uk and asking them on the forums.

    Re: Fifa 2008 Demo

well i have played fifa demo and it was worse than pes6. i have yet to play pes7 but if pes7 is equal to or better than the last pes then fifa 08 is still miles behind pro evo

    Re: Fifa 2008 Demo

I thought the last fifa was terrible !! so I got pro evo 6 and much more enjoyed that I like the master league on it.

I don't like the fact that you can't have the real stadiums or kits the gameplay is good .. that's why I always liked fifa cos of the kits and player names and things like that..

I don't want to waste £40 on fifa 08 if it isn't that great though

    Re: Fifa 2008 Demo

The gameplay in this demo is far too slow and the players seem to be moving more awkwardly than the last game.

I switched from Pro Evo to FIFA last year, but it could well be that I switch back to Pro Evo. Gameplay seems far sharper.

Too early to tell from a demo though, should be getting both games this week, and there's only room for one in my footy collection. I'll play them for a week and make up my mind.
