statspadding your gamerscore WOULD YOU!!!

right wanted to ask this as i cant believe people would do this but i was surfing the fleabay for some 360 games and came across some surprising things for sale


someone selling gamerscore points for your 360
£4 buys you 950 points on the game SURFS UP
you send the guy your gamertag and id after you pay him and then he logs in and gets you the 950 points
what surprised me was that on the surfs up one 6 people had purchased it

i've also seen these for AVATAR as well.

so have you ever done this as i can't see wh y anyone would,

i'm old fashioned and my score is below about 2700 but i have earned all of that and am proud of it.

SO COME ON GUYS BE HONEST IF YOU HAVE EVER DONE THIS ALSO YOUR VIEWS ARE WELCOME

i dont even think im over 1000 points yet. i really couldnt care less.

however some people do. and if anyone gets caught doing this in a group that care (they suddenly get 950 points on surfs up, whatever the hell that is). they should be laughed off live

I would say stay away from this as these games are easy to get the points on anyway.

Also if you have your card details in your account then I guess it could cause further issues if they had access to the card details on the account (not sure if they would or not tho)

A Gamerscore is nothing to brag about anyway as lets face it someone with access to 10+ games is going to get a larger score than someone with say 3 games.

Avatar is the easiest 1000 points ever.

All you do is press 1 red (b) button in a rhythm to attack the people and then within 5 minutes you'll have 1000 points.

I really like the achievements system, and have done some silly things for them, beat a song on guitar hero in expert mode with no sound for example; but its achievements like that give you an extra little morsel of fun by making you play the game in a different way (some of orange box's achievements are prime examples) and giving you an extra little reward in the form of achievements that I really get a kick out of, I'd take no pride in paying to have someone else to boost my gamerscore or buying Avatar just to crack an extra thousand on my number though.

Seems to me it would cheapen the experience, much like buying someone else's ready made leveled up character for an RPG.

Achievements are a good feature when they are implemented well. Achievements such as Bioshock 'irony' and basketball with the gravity gun in HL2 for instance. I couldn't care less about my gamer score though.

I love achievements when they've been done well. There's so many games that don't make good use of them though. They do give me an incentive sometimes to try something I wouldn't normally. I didn't used to like co-op, but I play it sometimes just to unlock achievements.

I wouldn't pay for someone to increase my score though.

I'm a quality over quantity person, I wont have any crap games on my gamercard, so there will be no easy 1000 point games like King Kong or owt. Only quality games get played in the first place to earn the points off.

i agree with the point that some games are not implemented well with points for example have fought and won maybe 35 fights on fight night 3 average 3 rounds and got 500ish points.
done 8 hours on forza 2 it says up to level 26 and got 90 points

the most disappointing one is enchanhted arms huge rpg but the 1000 points are all for main story not a single gamerpoint for doing the side quests, huge shame but i will do the side quests anyway

cba with it personally im not getting paid to do it so it's to much hassle to spend ages doing tasks to get a high score.
