I bought GRID and realised that you can't get 1000 on it because one of the achievements is bugged. Still I'll try for all I can get.

which achievement is bugged?
You gotta drive 'em all.
You have to drive all 45 cars in the game, problem being that there is only 43 cars in the game. Originally there were 45 but Ferrari pulled out of the game last minute and the 2 Ferrari's that were in the game were removed, but the achievement was never updated.
They put a fix out for it in the first update for the game and everything was fine but then broke it again with the 2nd update.

got 1200 points on fallout 3 now. just finished the pitt dlc did it in a night but i enjoyed it
With RE5, should I jump straight in on veteran, or start on normal? I see you need to finish it on veteran to open the pro mode.

Depends on if you want a challenge... I'd say normal first, learn the game and get some upgrading done. That way, you won't get absolutely slaughtered on Vet with rubbish weapons.
So what ever you gain in a play through you keep in the next? I like the sound of that

Start on normal, get yourself a decent shotgun and a rifle, spend money on upgrading those weapons, not on buying new ones. Then when you jump onto vet, you have a crowd control weapon and a long range weapon, and you can blag your way through.
Indeed. If you have spare monies, I'd also soup up a magnum to make boss fights that much easier.
You can get infinite ammo for any weapons that have been fully upgraded, which comes in super handy.
So you get infinite ammo for any weapon that you have fully upgraded at the end of a play through?

Sort of. You get the option to unlock infinite ammo on fully upgraded guns once you've completed the game.
You'll need to spend points you get from completing chapters to unlock it.
So say you finish a level with an S Rank, you get 1000pts, and for 15,000pts you can unlock infinite ammo on, say, the M3 shotgun.
Pretty sure that's how it works.

Ah cool, thanks for the info
I know there are other sites where I can get the info but I'm trying to stay spoiler free at the moment. I've just picked up the M3 shotty as well So far I think I've S ranked 2 rounds, I like exploring so it's the time that's letting me down.
One more question Am I being stupid or can you not buy ammo?

You can't buy handgun, rifle, shotgun or magnum ammo, no. You can buy the various different rounds (electric, explosive, nitrogen) for the grenade launcher though.
There is a way to 'generate', so to speak, ammo for the normal guns, if you've got plenty of spare cash - you buy 5 or so of the cheapest gun in the class, a cheapo handgun, sell them, and the ammo from the guns gets put in your inventory.
It's only useful though once you've got 100,000k or more though so the price doesn't matter.
Finally finished off the full 1000 in RE5
I thought the Pro mode was going to be hard with the AI partner, but the infinite RPG made it too easy in the end. I think there should be another achievement for finishing the game without using any infinite ammo on pro.

Aye, was talking about this with JK on MSN the other day. Its too easy to unlock the infi rocket launcher, and then nothing gets in your way on Pro. Only the 2 Wesker fights are a bit tricky.
Ah well, it's not a hard game anyway.
DLC very soon for Ressy 5 remember, Trashman...
